For its correct care, a few simple steps must be followed. Whatever its composition, every bag or jewel must be carefully cared for in order to keep it as the first day.

 

JEWELRY

BASIC CARE:

It is important to remove your jewelry before going to sleep or doing any physical activity. It is not recommended to use your pieces in the shower, bathtub, pool or sea. Contact with water and exposure to some chemical products can damage its color causing it to darken or even lose its brightness. This includes, but is not limited to, creams, perfumes, cleaning products, bleach, or your skin's own PH.

CLEANING:

Our jewelry is made up of various materials that require specific types of cleaning.

In the event that your jewel is made of ecosilver silver, it will be enough to clean your piece with warm water and neutral PH soap along with a soft bristle brush, paper towel or cloth. You can follow the same process for your pieces with marble motifs.

Gold or ruthenium baths require a bit more care. Cleaning must be done with special delicacy to avoid damaging the bathrooms.

If it is a piece of jewelery with wooden pieces, you can clean them with a damp cloth and hydrate them with beeswax for wood or with a little nourishing cream.

HOW TO STORE YOUR JEWELERY:

Your jewelry should not be exposed to sudden changes in temperature. For proper conservation it is preferable to store your jewelry individually, away from any exposure to sunlight. Always avoid keeping your jewelry in humid environments such as the bathroom, the humidity of the environment can compromise the integrity of your jewelry. Wrap them in soft fabrics to avoid friction, in a padded jewelry box or even in plastic bags with hermetic closures. CARE OF YOUR BAGS:

Here are a series of tips to keep your bags in optimal condition.

Bakari flannel bags are specially prepared for the perfect storage of your bags. Try to always keep them in their original bag, their soft interior will protect them from scratches and their exterior will prevent them from coming into contact with any other element.

If you are not going to use your bag for a while, it is advisable to fill it to prevent it from becoming deformed. Preferably use onion paper, due to inks, magazines and newspapers can stain the inside of your bag.

Be careful not to stack them, the bags should be kept in their original shape, without pressing or bending them.

As with the care of your jewelry, avoid direct sunlight and excessive humidity. The color can be damaged causing changes in tone and over time, the skin could crack.

If it rains or the bag comes into contact with any liquid, simply dry it with a white cotton cloth and leave it in an airy place. Avoid sources of heat or dryers as they could damage the skin.

Pay attention to the weight, carrying the bag excessively can deform the handle.

If you usually carry cosmetics or perfumes in your bag, try to keep them in a toiletry bag. In this way we will prevent them from dirtying the inner lining in the event of being opened by accident.

Do not hang it when you get home as it could deform, place it on a flat surface to keep its handles in perfect condition.

To maintain the softness and elasticity of the skin of our bags, it is advisable to hydrate them two or three times a year. Although it is recommended to use specialized products, a good moisturizer can be very effective. Although Nivea is a good option, at Bakari we recommend specialized creams for leather, such as Nupel. To make sure that the product will not alter the characteristics of the skin, try to do a test in some inconspicuous point of your bag.

For daily cleaning, a dry white cotton cloth will suffice, gently wiping it over its surface.

It is very important to bear in mind that this does not apply to suede, the care products are very specific, there are sprays and moisture protectors that will prevent your bag from deteriorating prematurely. For cleaning, we can use a brush with soft and abundant bristles.
